Kids Ministry
Gathering Point Kids Sunday morning curriculum is called Gospel Project for Kids, which is designed with three essentials. Heart Transformation – Christ being the center of all we do can and will produce heart transformation. Kingdom Expanding – Expanding God’s Kingdom, not just our church, our focus is to keep our eyes on the prize. Culture Shaping – Not wanting our kids to blend in but to have an impact on the world for Christ, anything less is missing the target. We want Kingdom Kids to be swift and sharp – like an archer that precisely hits the bulls eye! The three essentials of Kingdom Kids work best when it is blended with the love of the family and the love of the church both working on the same goal to help children grow in their faith. Kids ages 2 through fifth grade are learning the same lesson on their level each week.
All children attending on Sunday mornings will need to be checked in by an adult at the beginning of each service. Please account for this extra step as you plan your morning. Classes are divided by age for babies and pre-schoolers, and by grade for elementary students. Helpful volunteer staff are at the check–in desk to help with details.
Student Ministry
Gathering Point Students seek to intentionally engage middle school and high school students in a life changing and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We desire to create an environment for God’s Spirit to move through intentional relationships, biblical teaching & worship, and meaningful conversation. We desire for students to ultimately live out the mission to Know Jesus, Grow in Faith, and to Go Witness. We would love to be a part of your students journey!
SOBA Single Moms
James 1:27 says “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widow in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” Single moms are the 21st Century widows and orphans and the church is called to care for them.
SOBA stands for Sick of Being Alone, which is the main complaint of a single mom. Our message to these moms is simple: You are not alone. SOBA is a ministry for single moms here at Gathering Point and in our community.
Join us once a month for a meal and time of encouragement. SOBA meets the first Wednesday of the month at 6:oopm. Childcare provided. Register and RSVP below.
Life Groups
The adult ministry exists to draw us together as Kingdom builders in our lives, our homes, our jobs, our community, and our church. We strive to be continually growing in our relationship with Christ through prayer, studying His word, fellowship, and service. Life groups, Bible studies, and prayer gatherings are a great way to grow in faith, practicing accountability and becoming stronger disciples for Christ.
Outreach
Church isn’t church unless our compassion spills beyond the walls of our weekend services. We partner with several local organizations and charitable groups around the world to provide goods and services to those in need here in our home and around the world.
